Because of Adelaide's reputation as Australia's Learning City, prestigious foreign universities do not hesitate to open their campuses here. American Carnegie Mellon opened a campus in the city in 2007 and University College London (number 4 in the world; The Times Higher Education Top 100) established a campus in Adelaide in 2010.

Bradford College - offers direct parthways to the University of Adelaide
Eyensbury International - provides a pathway to all three South Australian universities
SAIBT (The South Australian Institute of Business and Technology) - its programs lead to all undergraduate degrees at the university of South Australia
